ATOM RPG: Trudograd
A direct continuation of ATOM RPG, in which you will get to travel to Trudograd, a snowy post-apocalyptic megapolis that survived the destructive nuclear war and now stands tall among the wastes. It is said that the untouched depths of this city hold a mythical weapon which might soon become the only saving grace of the dying world. It is your goal to find and deliver it to ATOM, a secret organization formed by the top brass of the former Soviet Red Army.
ATOM RPG: Trudograd is set in the same world as the first game and follows its staples and design choices very closely. The game features post-Soviet aesthetics, hundreds of multiple-solution quests, a turn-based combat system, post-apocalyptic survival mechanics, a vast open world map, and hundreds of NPCs, each with a unique portrait, multiple choice dialogue, distinct personality, goals and ambitions in the world.
However, ATOM RPG: Trudograd also features a lot of aspects that evolved when compared to the first game and adds several new distinctive features. Now, NPCs have more topics to discuss, the combat system has several new mechanics, combat abilities and animations. The skill tree has grown five times the size of its predecessor. Graphic text adventures were added to the game, as well as a fun card mini game called Bombagun.
The graphics also received a major update. Another distinguishing feature of Trudograd is the setting. The wild wasteland of the first game was changed for a giant post-apocalyptic city, the destiny of which you, the player, will get to decide. Trudograd is a city of contrast, where multiple factions fight for control. In this snow-filled city-state, wealth and poverty, wooden shacks and grand highrise buildings, post-apocalyptic primitivism and high technology, truth and lies are all close neighbours. Which will stay and which will fall… It all depends on your choices.
